Uroflowmetry

Uroflowmetry is a non-invasive test that measures the speed and volume of urine to help diagnose urinary issues, such as blockages or bladder dysfunction. The test involves urinating into a special funnel connected to a recording device that charts the flow rate, volume, and time spent. Before the examination, patients usually need to drink water to fill the bladder, then urinate on specialized equipment. This test can help diagnose bladder outlet obstruction, underactive bladder, and other problems. Uroflowmetry can also be used to monitor treatment effectiveness.
