MRI & Ultrasound
MRI and ultrasound are both non-invasive imaging techniques that use different methods to visualize the inside of the body. MRI uses strong magnets and radio waves, while ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves. The choice between them depends on what needs to be seen. The new technology, “MRI-Ultrasound Fusion Guided Biopsy”, combines both imaging techniques, allowing doctors to target and sample suspicious areas of the prostate.
