Urological Cancers
Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is a malignant disease of the male-specific gland, which often presents no obvious symptoms at early stages. As the disease progresses, symptoms such as difficulty when urinating, hematuria, or bone pain from metastasis may appear. Major risk factors include aging and family history. Early detection is possible through PSA testing and imaging examinations. Treatments include active surveillance, focal therapy, robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy, and radiotherapy. Advanced cases may require hormonal therapy, targeted therapy and chemotherapy.
